The 5M approach to a Wholesome lifestyle

We are all running around trying to "Make It" in this life time. what if we just stopped. Is the running around really necessary ?

There is more to life then just going to work and trying to "Make it"

I believe in this 5M approach

  1. Meditation : We have to learn to sit still, building this connection with the universe or the divine or God whatever you want to call it. This is a profound experience and trust me a regular meditation practice will change your life.

  2. Movement : Some sort of physical movement is necessary for a healthy wholesome life. I am partial to Yoga of course but you can choose any physical movement. Running, Biking, Hiking, walking, swimming... the choices are unlimited we just have to do something every day.

  3. Meals : Cannot even begin to tell you how important it is to eat a healthy meal. We need to treat food as medicine. Eating a plant based whole food diet will keep us healthy and disease free. There are so many researches that prove that you can reduce or eliminate so many diseases but by eating a healthy diet.

  4. Meet and connect with others : Human beings are wired for connections, when we isolate its bad news for our health and well being. its really important to have friends and connections and staying in regular contact with them. Studies show that people who have good social life life healthier and longer.

  5. Mind set : I put this in the last place as I know this is the hardest thing to do. Trying to keep a positive outlook in life and treating any challenges in life as an opportunity to grow. Reminding ourselves that things happen for a reason and they are all trying to help us grow in one way or another.
